Ruchè Riserva represents the deepest and most structured expression of the rare native Monferrato grape variety, cultivated in the heart of Monferrato and protected by the Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG denomination.
In the glass, it presents a dense and compact ruby red, traversed by elegant garnet reflections, a sign of its evolution and prolonged aging.
On the nose, it reveals a broad, complex, and layered bouquet:
withered rose, violet, and ripe morello cherry intertwine with notes of plum, red fruit jam, and subtle spicy nuances. Scents of black pepper, licorice, sweet tobacco, and delicate balsamic undertones emerge, amplifying its aromatic depth.
On the palate, it is enveloping, structured, and harmonious. The tannins are dense yet velvety, perfectly integrated into an elegant texture. The extended maturation provides volume and complexity, while maintaining the characteristic freshness of the grape variety. The finish is long, intense, and persistent, with spicy and floral echoes that slowly accompany the close.
